*Live completely off of Keith's salary---Starting today we are going to try our hardest to live completely off of Keith's salary (besides what to pay for Ava's daycare). I would like my income to go completely towards paying off the van/savings.
*Take better care of my house---This is something I have MAJORLY slacked on since I have started back working. When I come home in the afternoons, I am exhausted and I want to spend that precious time playing with Ava. I am going to try my best to do little by little in the house during the week, so I won't be so overwhelmed when it is time to clean up...hope that makes sense. :)
*Take more pictures and videos of Ava-We just got a nice, new camera. We also have a camcorder that we have not used as much as we should. I want to have lots of pictures for Ava to look back on when she grows up. My mom just gave me a scrapbook of me growing up, and I am so glad I have it. I want Ava to have the same thing.
*Learn to use coupons---This is another thing I am going to work hard on doing. Since we are trying to live off of Keith's salary, I will really need to know how to use coupons so we can save as much money as possible.
*Blog More---I have been so busy and have found it hard to find time to blog. That is something I want to do much better on this year. It's nice to be able to look back! I recently read through my blog from the beginning, and I wish I had posted more! :)
*Leave work at 3:00 as much as possible---I will be the first to admit that I don't always leave school at 3:00. A lot of the time I find myself staying late to do some work in my classroom, and I bring a lot of stuff home. Sometimes I have meetings after school, so it is not ALWAYS possible to leave right at 3. The way I look at it is that I don't bring my work from home to school, so why should I bring my schoolwork home. I am going to try really hard to work as hard as possible while I am at school so I do not have to bring any home.
I will let everyone know how my resolutions go! :)
Happy 2010!

Followers
Hey Guys!
Wow, I am on a roll! I don't think I have posted this much in a while.
Anyway, I need some followers. If you don't mind, do me a favor and click the "follow" button at the left of this blog if you read my blog at all. I just like to have an idea of who all reads (if anybody at all--haha)!
Thanks in advance for doing this favor for me!

This and That
Just a little update on us.
Ava and I have had such a fun week!!! I have been easily reminded of how much I love being at home with her. We have just been enjoying my last week off before returning to work next week. I had great plans to clean this house top to bottom, and guess what?? None of it has gotten done. :)
Keith's last day of work for this week was today, so we are glad to to have him home with us for the next few days. We don't have any plans for New Year's Eve tomorrow night. I think we are just going to enjoy being home as a family. We'll probably be asleep by 10:30 (we are getting so old).
This weekend we plan on watching the Cotton Bowl--Go Rebels!!! Earlier today, I was kind of wishing we had decided to go, but I think it will be much better watching from the comfort of our home. PLUS, I have to get some planning done for school, so I will probably be doing that while watching the game.
I can't say I am overly excited about returning to work at this point. The break has just been TOO short, and we have had so much fun! I will be fine once I get back into routine, though, and Spring Break will be here before we know it (not to mention the 2 "3 day" weekends we get before that)! We have so many exciting this happening throughout this semester in our family, and I can't wait for all of it! :)

Much Excitement!
December 28th-We got the "ok" from our ob to start trying for a baby again in December. As scary as this was, we really wanted to get pregnant again as soon as possible. Surprisingly we got pregnant immediately.
What am I feeling?
I am honestly scared to death. However, I keep telling myself that this is God's child, and I am putting my trust in Him. I prayed to Him the moment I took the pregnancy test to protect this child. I pray for this child everyday.
I go to the doctor January 6th (I will almost be 6 weeks). They want to go ahead and do an ultrasound which scares me because I don't know if they will be able to see a heartbeat yet.
I know I am so blessed beyond measure. I think it is just natural to have the feelings of nervousness. Like I said, I am just praying, and I know that God will take care of us!
December 31st (5 Weeks)
Today I am 5 weeks. So far, so good. I have noticed that I am not as tired with this one as I was with Ava. That may be because I have been off of work for the past 2 weeks. I have notice a huge increase in appetite. I have a doctor's appointment Wednesday. I will be 5 weeks 6 days. I will meet with the doctor and have an ultrasound.

Christmas 2009
We had such a great and busy Christmas! Keith and I got each other a Canon Rebel xsi so maybe I will upload more pictures from now on...here's hoping! :) Of course Ava got tons of stuff too. My sister-in-law is expecting a baby boy in April, and he got tons of cute things too. I forgot how tiny newborn clothes are. It's hard for me to believe that Ava was ever that small.
Keith had to be at both Christmas Eve services at our church that evening. Ava and I didn't go. There was not a nursery, and I was nervous having her out in church...I know--shame on me!
We got up early Christmas morning, and Ava got to see all of her new toys. After that, we ate breakfast and headed to North Mississippi to celebrate with my family. That is where the pictures I uploaded were taken. We had a great time and made many memories.
We are back home now. I have another week off from school (yay!), so we plan on just relaxing this week with not particular schedule. So exciting!!!
As much as I enjoyed Christmas, I am not terribly sad that its over like I normally am. I am REALLY looking forward to the new year! We have so many exciting things that will be happening, and I think it will be a wonderful year! One of my resolutions is that I am going to post on here much more often!! :)
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!! Happy New Year!
