We Are Still Alive!
We are sill alive-we have just been busy, busy! Everything is going great though!
Ava had her 15 month check-up yesterday. Everything looked really good, but she has a small ear infection, so she got a prescription for that, and hopefully it will clear up very soon. She is at such a fun age...she is into everything. She loves songs and music, and likes to clap and dance!! :) Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I will try to upload some very soon!
Work is going well for me. The hardest thing is getting up and leaving so early! I try to get there by 6:30 every morning, but we are allowed to leave a 3:00, so that's good. Keith doesn't take Ava to school until about 8:30, so she is never there TOO long. He also stays home with her on Fridays, so that is good too!
More updates soon!!!

Work, Work, Work
Oh my! Things have been super busy around here lately. I started school last week, but the kids came in today. It was a great day, and I could not ask for a better class! I am just SO tired, and I have really been missing Ava a lot during the day. It's really hard not being able to see her in the morning (since I have to leave so early), but we are slowly adjusting! Not too much else has been going on besides trying to get back in routine.
Ava has been learning and doing lots of fun things lately, and we just enjoy her so much! It's so fun to watch her learn new stuff, but I just can't believe how fast she is growing!
More updates later!

New Job!
Well, I finally got a job for the school year! I will be at an elementary school in the area teaching 4th grade. I am really excited about 4th grade. I taught this my first year as a teacher, and I really like the age! I met with the principal last week, and she seems to be a great, Christian woman.
I went up to the school today so get some paperwork checked and to see my room. I did not even know where to start in my room. It's a GREAT room. It just has SO much stuff in it, and it is all in the middle of the room with no organization at all! I would LOVE to get my room cleaned, organized, and decorated this week so I can take next week off. I actually start back next Friday, but I would like to at least have Monday-Thursday at home with Ava.
As excited and thankful that I am about this job, please keep us in yours prayers. It will definitely be a huge transition for our family since I have been at home with Ava for the past 15 months. It's bittersweet because I am going to miss her SO much during the day, but I am thankful to have a career that has really great hours! Pray that she will make the transition easily!

Ole Miss Ladies Football Forum
This past weekend, I went to the Ole Miss Ladies Football forum with Nancy (my sister-in-law) and Mary Jane (a friend). I LOVE Ole Miss, so we had sooo much fun with lots of good laughs! We spent the night Friday and went to the forum Saturday! We ate at Pearl Street Pasta Friday night (one of my favorite places)!
We had the opportunity to do lots of fun things at the forum Saturday. When we got there, we were able to meet Coach Nutt and have our picture taken with him. After that, we all got to run on to the football field like the players do on gameday. We toured the Indoor Practice facility where we went to the media room, the weight room, the equipment room, and the training room. They were all really cool, and it was neat to learn the routine of the football team on game weekends. That afternoon, we had a chance to meet with the offensive coaches, and we were able to listen to past Ole Miss players!!! I did not realize that we were going to get to meet the current football players, but we did, and they were all SO nice!
Here are some pictures from the weekend:
